Lexi was a beautiful 8 year old with an infectious smile and a twinkle in her eye.
She was hilariously funny and could always make her big sister, Sammi, laugh.
Lexi loved all her stuffed animals - especially her care bears - and her incredible imagination brought them to life.
Her favorite color was purple and her favorite shape was a heart.
Lexi showed her zest for life - and speed - everytime she rode her purple bike.
Lexi was a wonderful daughter, little sister and friend who thoroughly enjoyed life.
Each year on the last Saturday of September, which is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month,
we come together under the banner of Laps for Lexi to stand with families facing childhood cancer today,
remember the young lives like our 8-year old Lexi Speight who were taken too soon,
and rededicate ourselves to combating this terrible illness.
